External Ventricular Drainage system
Indicated to reduce and temporarily control the (ICP) pressure, by cerebrospinal fluid drainage. The system gathers all the components required for secure and efficient drainage. The mobile burette allows better precision in pressure control and measurement of drained volume.

COMPONENTS
- Pressure Scale
- Pressure scale in mm Hg and H2O cm, mobile graded burette for easy and safe adjustment of the ICP.
- Filter
- Hydrophobic antimicrobial resistant to wetting, preventing drainage interruption due to filter blockage. Accompanies clamp to be closed when placed horizontally.
- Patient’s Stopcock
- With output for ICP monitoring.
- Luer Connection
- Male and female connectors enable the replacement of the drainage bag.
- Drainage Bag
- 700ml, graduated every 50mL, with pressure scale in mmHg and cmH2O.
- Sampling Site
- For emptying the bag without the use of a needle, preventing leaks and contamination. Includes a clamp to avoid leaking.
- Louer
- Slide Clamp
- For flow interruption between patient and system.
- Patient’s Stopcock
- Y Valve
- For sample collection or fluid injection without the use of a needle, preventing leaks and contamination.
- Anti-reflux Valve
- Prevents the return of CSF.
BURETTE
Adult size with 75ml or 100ml and neonatal with 30ml capacity. Includes a clamp to avoid wetting the filter when placed horizontally.
CATHETERS
Made of transparent silicone with radiopaque fillet, marked every 1cm, and with oblong orifices to prevent obstruction.
Connection Protection
Prevents unintentional disconnection and kinking of the catheter at connection with the tubing.
